suzanneseveride do u know if this floor is natural stone? I am desperately trying to find a tile that looks like a natural stone but comes in tile for easier cleaning. Please share what this flooring is if you know
Which style do you prefer? Modern or Rustic? - I love this bathroom due to the design and more rustic hybrid taste involved. Who was the designer for the lights? My favorite designer for handmade wrought iron light fixtures is Steven Handelman. http://www.stevenhandelmanstudios.com/products/wall-sconces/
Who do you lean towards when designing and decorating rooms? »
Maraya Interior Design We like to use custom cabinet makers. The cabinet maker here made the doors himself, not buying them from a cabinet door company. Every piece of this cabinet was made by hand, even all the moldings that make up the doors. The wood is also hand planed (scraped) before making up each and every piece that makes the whole cabinetry. Then, the best painters I know stain it and put a glaze over the stain to enhance the old world, handmade feel.
wood arches - are the wooden arches above the sinks solid or is the arch just a face fram. I think it looks solid because of the reflection of the mirror thanks »
Maraya Interior Design This master bath is in a Tuscan styled home. The golden walls were fauxed by a local artist, the cabinets are custom designed and handscraped and distressed. The wood is stained, and a glaze coat put on top.
Maraya Interior Design The paint for the walls were fauxed by one of our favorite artists, so there is no one color, but many colors mixed. The slab is Durango Limestone, the cabinets are handscraped walnut with distressing and handglazing.
Where did you get your sinks and what is the depth of the counter from the wall to in front of the sink and then from the wall to in front of the cabinets? Is there anymore views of these cabinets? Thanks! Judy Smith »
Maraya Interior Design The sinks are probably Kohler Caxton. I can't remember, and designed this home many years ago. Caxton is one of my favorite sinks, though. Counter depth is 22" in the large part. These photos cost a lot to take, so don't have more than one!
