Santa Barbara Open Beam Living Room

New home with open beam ceilings. Ceilings covered with stined tonque and groove planks. Handmade custom wrought iron lighting, handcarved limestone fireplace, with Dunn Edwards Rice Bowl painted walls. Handmade silk rug custom made for home, and imported from China. Custom made handcarved sofa table behind chenille sofa with specialty custom down pillows. Metal windows covered with drapery panels, and sun shade roman shades to filter out the south facing sun and heat.

Maraya Interior Design Stan Tenpenny was the contractor for this home. I think he had the windows custom made by Jim Miller.

Maraya Interior Design These floors were made by a Ventura, Califronia wood flooring company no longer in business. Handscraped, solid Chestnut. flooring, wide planks.

Maraya Interior Design The color on the walls is actually Rice Bowl, from Dunn Edwards. It looks golden in the photo because of the incandescent lighting, but is really a creamy color.
