Love the windows. Could you share who the manufacturer/supplier was? Commercial or residential grade? - We are brainstorming ideas for new construction so we set the basic home parameters prior to working with an architect/designer. Houzz is wonderful to promote dialogue on strategic issues like home style, room heights and thus windows, etc, etc. The above question is posed so we can research this style of windows further. »
picpics Check Out Ecosmart FIre, they make awesome stainless steel ventless modern fireplace inserts for new construction or remodel. Lots of sizes and styles, it uses a bioethanol fuel that doesn' t have to vent, so you can place the firebox almost anywhere, any size, with resin fire logs, or stones, and they look great!
Kudos to the design team and home owner for showing us another use for travertine....brilliant!
At Colorado Tile & Stone/Stone Concepts of Colorado we are always looking for new uses for one of our favorite materials. Thank You!

Faux wood planks and beams! Very budget friendly and come in a lot of different styles and colors. They can look extremely modern and very rustic depending on use. The upside to this material is that it's very easy to create any look you want. The install is much cheaper due to lighter material used to make faux wood. It is typically a variation of styrofoam put into molds then painted. In the right artist's hands and at a height of at least 10 ft they can be quite convincing even to a keen observer. Buyer beware though, as not all faux wood is created equal. Some can be convincingly real while other products can look cheap and cheesy! That's where the artisan installing the product can be of great value.
