Ira Eichner Photography: The warm tones of CVG (clear vertical grain) Douglas Fir are finely displayed in this home’s custom wood doors and windows, with both Legacy Series and Signatures Series windows well represented. Quantum’s Legacy Series can be seen in the home’s double hung architectural windows which include screens. Legacy Series transoms are repeatedly found flanking Quantum's Hinged doors with cottage style TDL’s (true divided lites). Quantum was tasked with building architectural angle windows which were later filled with spectacular art glass. Seen also in this project are French casement windows and custom interior slat doors. A unique feature of this home are the Legacy/Signature hybrid windows. Here the architect called for Legacy double hung perimeter jambs to be equipped with operable awning and casement windows from the Signature Series line.
