Doesn't it look like these three chairs are having a chat? The wooden chair is a little uptight, the pink Series 7 chair has the giggles, and the Eames rocker is cracking her up even more.
All mixed up, a vintage Eames rocking chair, Windsor-style chair, contemporary pink chair and traditional Beidermeier table alongside a mirrored buffet and it works beautifully.
I recently included this room in another Ideabook, and just had to add it here as well. The pink plywood chair is a key component in the success of this highly creative room.
Could this mix of chairs, pulled up to a sculptural table, be more creative? It creates an artistic arrangement, with its wide range of styles, from a Eames Molded Rocker to a pink plywood chair and a traditional Windsor chair painted black.
Another cool way to combine colors in a space is to use mismatched chairs at the kitchen table. This yellow chair and pink chair together really show off how these colors can compliment one another even in a busy space.
