This of course is not ranch style, but this photo does a good job of exhibiting how a splash of a colorful, shapely piece of furniture in a larger space can add elegance. Blending two styles such as ranch and chic often means nuances of one or the other, not letting the two styles compete.

One of my favorite designs is the end table with a built-in magazine rack. This allows you to leave the magazine open on the table for a moment or it provides a place for you to set your coffee while you read your magazine. This thing, natural design is a gorgeous option.
