I would use a solid (maybe textured) porcelain tile which picks up one of the colors in the mosaic or is neutral (i.e. beige). I am familiar with this mosaic and it is very beautiful but very busy and it needs visual space to breathe. Keep it simple with the floor tile!
Emily Hurley That tile is gorgeous. I think you would have a lot of possibilities for a countertop. I would pick something without a lot of pattern though. Concrete? Soapstone?
I think you could pull one of the more neutral looking lighter browns in the tile for the walls. That would be lovely. But...again...lots of possibilities.
Starla Roseen Oh, I think you take the very lightest color of green out of the tile for the walls to help keep in bright with a nice white countertop to make it pop. I can picture your cabinets with a sleek stainless handle. If you had other stainless also to match?
must be too expensive because it is hands down my favorite. Maybe there would be a way to turn small inexpensive tiles like these into a mosaic of some sort that would utilize more inexpensive pieces to go with...
Thanks!
