...even as a wall surface for a living room fireplace, it's going to get dusty on all those ledges - requiring more maintenance than necessary.
B•D•G Design Group Yes I would not suggest using this in a wet application in a bathroom but on a feature wall (outside of the shower) it would be just fine.
I agree with the comment above about not using on a kitchen splash as well. It would be a nightmare to clean.
Holly Conrad Smith We use this material in wet areas all the time--you use a soft brush and a stone cleaner. it is no harder to clean than a tumbled stone.
However, make sure your contractor uses a waterproof backing and the proper setting materials.
