What Color Curtains? - I have a dark brown sectional coming and I'm going to use the same paint color as you did. I have a big bay window - what color curtains would you use for this same scenario? Thank you kindly. »
lokgic Thank you for the input! Normally I would agree with the bare windows, however, we live on the corner lot of a reasonably busy street and would like something for privacy but balanced with a nice look. Therefore I was thinking sheers and a scarf valance. Think that would work?

Krista Yagci I was wondering about the mirrors too! Hope I can find them online! (Imagination Mirrors Contemporary Round Contemporary Mirror in Rustic Silver Black)
Love the color, needing to know if this color can be paired with cognac snifter and brown sugar and if this pa - int has brown undertones which would not be so dark. I am really looking the right beige/khaki color that will pair with the coppery orange and brown sugar by pratt & lambert. I am also looking to add a mossy green....PLEEEASE HELP!!!!! »
Winston Churchill once said, "I cannot pretend to feel impartial about colors. I rejoice with the brilliant ones and am genuinely sorry for the poor browns." I'm not sure he would have said this after seeing the different shades and textures in this relaxed but elegant room.

I like the material and caramel color of the ottoman. I think we should use it as an inspiration for the chaise fabric. I am pretty sure that is cowhide ($$$) on the ottoman but perhaps we can find something similar in color but in fabric. Leather would be a good choice because it will hold up to spills but that will still be expensive.

coffee table replaced by large comfy ottoman with throw and books. Love the decor in this room; including the little "tree stump" table on the left of the white chair
