Lariesa Hips Im so glad! I LOVE THIS LOOK! I would love too find the the fabric or coverlet for this bed as it would finish the look of my sons room :D
ymummyy I know I would too. I also would like to find the pillows, especially the blue and white striped one. I had to go with a different comforter, but I stayed with the blue and white theme. I used porcelain tile that looks just like distressed wood, so cool and sooooo easy to clean and care for. Here's a picture of it.
Adi Tatarko This is the guest bedroom of Layla from The Lettered cottage blog. She purchased everything on Ebay and It's all Pottery Barn bedding. The quilt is "Blue and White Ticking".
Sometimes I wonder about placing a bed right under a window - will it block the light? Is there something weird about propping yourself up by the window? But here, the windows frame the bed and it really works.
Not all women are interested in pretty pink decor. I happen to love this nautical-themed bedroom. Having a room like this would make me feel like I was on vacation in my own home. Sometimes that's what a girl needs!
The layers the layers the layers and mixed patterns and textures. Change out lighter fabrics like cottons for flannels and wools. Throw an extra blanket at the edge of the bed to invite curling up with a good read without undoing the entire bed.
Yes, this Lettered Cottage guest space is so beautiful, who WOULDN'T want to crash any day on this bed and get laptop work (or nothing whatsoever!) done.
