I get too nervous about mixing the library-worthy order of my own library, but I love the color organization of this collection. The segmentation of this bookshelf helps visually separate the collection into bite-sized sections and allows for more filled shelves without overdoing the look.
These books might not be in the kitchen, but I love the way they're organized - great inspiration for putting together a pretty display in the kitchen.
I am so stealing this idea. Grouping books by color adds up to a gorgeous, graduated rainbow effect that showcases even the most unassuming of paperbacks in their best light. Genius!

3. Books organized by color. Yes, I think it's pretty. Until you actually want to find something to read. Then it is infuriating. When was the last time you decided you wanted to read a book with a yellow spine?
