teresa_007 Great idea and great atmosphere. What material was used for the wall behind the sofa? It seems to have two "layers" but I can't quite distinguish them from the photo.

Harrell Remodeling The reccessed alcove was built in during the remodel - it's tiled for easy clean up.

Though this is too geometric for me, the colors work well and are similar to what we might have. Perhaps less block-y details, more windowed cabinets.... I like the stone/tile floor against the wood in the rest of the room, but dunno about that for us.
