The streamlined white and stainless steel kitchen is a minimalist work of art. Wall-mounted stainless steel appliances from Gaggenau are installed into the white matte lacquer cabinetry from Boffi. The side-by-side refrigerator and freezer are from Gaggenau, and are located behind a white panel on the left wall.
The 8-foot long fireplace in the great room was a bit of a challenge for Hollis. Both she and the client wanted it to have a clean cut, with no glass. In the end, they had the piece custom made with sensors that turn the flame off if someone gets too close.
The installation was tricky as well — since the fireplace was made in a single piece, it had to be craned in through the building's roof.
