Using curly rulers, Carolyn created sinuous paths that she mirrored throughout the garden to resemble the rhythmic pattern of the waves crashing against the cliffs below.
Xeriscape gardens. Between the beds, the gravel path is loose and uncompacted, inviting a slow easy stroll through the garden. This is a great example of lush looking xeriscape. It's probably obvious, but just in case, I should point out that this type of path is not a good option for a front walk that woud need to be shovelled in winter. That would be a nightmare.
