Brooklyn Limestone The wires are behind the wall that end a bit to the left (the cable box sits on top of the dresser). You can see more recent photos of this room on my blog: http://www.brooklynlimestone.com
CREATE CONTINUITY WITH YOUR MEDIA. In a small space, a television or speaker system can stick out and become a hideous focus in the room. For not wanting to showcase the media stuff, and for wanting to create continuity, get creative. Place the tv in a frame such as this. Or mount it unframed but place a collage of photos or art around it, making it one of several wall pieces. Put the tv in an armoire. Place your speaker system amongst books on the shelves.
Mrs. Limestone made a delightful and ironic design decision when installing a TV above the mantel in her master bedroom. Placing a very ornate frame around the screen pokes fun at and embraces the presence of a TV.
Another clever idea for a more traditional space. Why not place your set inside a pretty frame?
