A great example of what I call contained chaos--the space clearly has perimeters (being in a corner helps), and within that, free expression and creativity visually reigns.
Love the gray wall - it's a great backdrop for all of her inspirations and it's not to precious to tack things to. It works so well with the crisp white chair, desk, and file cabinet, and just in case it gets too dark, she's given it some fun lights.
This spot takes the bulletin board feel a step further. As a teenager, I would've found this totally inspiring. A little distracting, maybe, but mostly inspiring.
Many people start with a cork board above their desk and outgrow that area. I love seeing a creative type's workspace where the inspirational images have taken over, past the pin board onto the walls all around. Mixed in with personal mementos, fairy lights, and actual work documents, the space doesn't feel messy because everything is hung neatly and straight. Against a dark wall, the images really grab your attention.
Despite the busyness of the wall this space doesn't appear to be cluttered, thanks to the visual organization that the white office chair and glossy white desk give the room. The deeper grey walls and lighter grey rug contrast so nicely with the white.
