I just purchased a similiar lantern for my entry hall. It's a large hall so the fixture is pretty large but airy like the one in this picture. Now I'm worried I won't be able to use a crystal chandelier in my dining room because they won't be compatible..My style is traditional. Thank you! »
foreverhouse I'm glad you like it! I l really like the idea of the dimmers..I never thought of that..My husband is allergic to candles so this would be a great solution for when I want to create a little atmosphere!
Circa Lighting These lanterns are from Circa Lighting - It the Arch Top Lantern by designer Sandy Chapman. It comes in Antique nickel, polished nickel, brass and antique burnished brass. Go to http://www.circalighting.com/details.aspx?pid=877 for more information!
Do these lanterns give you sufficient task lighting and do they cause a glare due to the glass. - I am trying to make a final decision on whether they will be right for my 10x 5 ft island. We have 18 ft ceilings so the scale works and they are beautiful. I am trying to get away from using my recessed lights. »
Possible Distressed creme finish? and Possible way to incorporate glass into design? and Possible cabintry over sink window? Also...this one type of inset end panel treatment.
