Bespoke Library built-in design.
This previous hall wall, already had a Bookcase opposite as you can see reflected in the backsplash mirror. We added this one, and a wet bar in it. Also, if I may add the so called skylight or glass ceiling is not, it is a glass floor in landing in the level above so people actually must walk on.

Are these great yellow striped drapes custom or from a store? If the later, where can they be purchased. »
Jerry Jacobs Design, Inc. Sorry I didn't reply before. Yes of course they are custom. It is a very fine fabric. This home is the second for a client, who move the chair along, we had done a drape table for them, and took the drape from the table and did this curtain. It is only an accent and space limitation, no window.
Cheers,
Jerry
Moving in the opposite direction, this reading nook combines bright colors and bold patterns to make quiet spot that begs for attention. Note the skylight and the varied light sources. This is a room made for use at any time of day.
Instead of hanging a solid door separating this lovely library from the home's entrance, the designers hung a single fabric panel from the ceiling. The effect is more subtle than a door and very welcoming.
Cheers,
Jerry
