susduj I'm in Canada, Jerry. I am making something a little similar (bookcase and shelves on top) have a carpenter working on it now. I'm just concerned about the depth of the countertop.I showed the carpenter your unit to give him and idea of what I was thinking of and he is making one with the same idea (no wet bar)

It is my pleasure.
My advice:
We work with clients all over the world. We use "Cabinetmakers" not carpenters, those build house framing. It is always best to invest in design, and know upfront what you are going to get. It is much more expensive not to. You get the wrong thing and have to do it twice.
We are happy to help you, but you would need to put a hold on your current process.
It is like a house you do not have a builder copy another without the adequate plans.
