Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR Hi katiejohn-- hopefully this designer will reply, but in the meantime, one of my favorite coffee shops has zinc covered tables. They are used all day, every day and I think they look great. With any metal, expect patina ... i.e. scratches.

So, what is "Patina Style," exactly? It's about paying respect to an item's age and weathering and appreciating the story it tells. It's about seeing history, beauty, experience and long journeys when looking at tarnish, worn spots, and darkened or distressed pieces.
