The bedframe is designed by Lago, an Italian product designer. The model's name is Fluttua ("float"). A metal leg in the middle holds the bed, which is also anchored securely into the wall behind. "It most certainly isn't going anywhere," says Sunda. This bed was something the client had seen before, but she wasn't sure it would work for her since it eliminated the possibility of under-bed storage. But Sunda incorporated wall cabinets on the left side of the room to compensate, allowing this bed to seem to float on air.
