Hi pharmchic2007, I have attached the floor plan for this bathroom which shows dimensions. I don't know what size of room you are working with, but as you can see, this bathroom is not huge considering all of the elements my clients wanted to have. Space between built-in shelving unit and tub is tight but it's a trade off with having more storage. Also, the door hits the base of the shower, but again, they wanted to get the largest shower possible in here and not have to go to the expense of moving the door. The round belly shower helps give a larger space inside the shower and the sliding door is better in a small space. Often things are not ideal, but you have to make the best of what you have!

Anyway, for your answer about spacing with the tub and tub filler - I think there was only about 5" - 6" between the wall and the edge of the tub. This span for this style of tub filler is usually in the range of somewhere between 8" - 9 1/2" from the centre of the spout to the centre of the stand. Keep in mind that the spout needs to clear the width of the tub edge plus any slope on the inside wall of the tub.

Also, some floor mounted tub fillers come with a bracket to support the tub filler to the wall. This would obviously determine your spacing. The one we used here did not have a bracket and works well without it.

Hope this is of some help, please let me know if you have any more questions.
