Hillsborough Shingle Style Home traditional dining room

Hillsborough Shingle Style Home

A arched opening from the Entry becomes the access to the new Dining room. Its high detailed ceiling compliments the wall of French doors with transoms. At each end of the room are built-in cabinets for storing dishes, glass ware and linens. The cabinet adjacent to the Entry has a paneled back and short square column reminiscent of the Entry Porch.

Love the ceiling in the dining room. Do you have a better picture? - I would really like to see a more full picture of the ceiling. It appears to be very simple, yet has a ton of character to it. I haven't seen anything like it. thank you.

The ceiling is a double soffit with beams running across the higher soffit and ceiling creating a stepped beam. The look is quite beautiful and very clean. I specialize in ceiling designs as part of the architectural design that I provide. If you would like some help with your project, please contact me through my website at www.trademarkarchitecture.com.
