This very European bathroom is dramatic in its contrast of black, white, and gold--but I like to imagine what it would look like with dark marine-navy walls and tub, and a natural wood floor, with the gold accenting. Maybe much more of the same kind of art on the wall?
When covering such a large area with such dark paint, I was recently reminded by a photo in a back copy of Architectural Digest, how high gloss helps attract light and keep the dark from being too dark.
