Small powder rooms can pose a design challenge. Yet, it’s important to create a room that is welcoming and luxurious. The inspiration for the powder room was the bronze damask wallpaper. When paired with a pedestal sink and white trim, the bold walls add drama. Due to the lack of clutter and minimal accessories, this small space is alluring. Photo by Danielle Austen.
Iris Interiors LLC Hi, Both the toilet and the pedestal sink are from St. Thomas Creations, specifically from the "Arlington" series. The sink comes in different sizes, this one was either the smallest or the medium sized sink. Good luck with your project! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
Could I use wallpaper on one wall as an accent? - I love the simplicity and elegance of this space. This photo is very similar to the look I would like to achieve in my powder room. The overall dimensions of the powder room are 3x8'. I was wondering if I could use a dark chocolate/bronze wallpaper on the long 8 foot wall and paint the other three walls in the same chocolate that is the background color in the wallpaper. Do you think it will work, or should I cover all 4 walls with wallpaper? Here is the link to the wallpaper I like: http://totalwallcovering.com/p39396/Tapiete-Jacobean.aspx?bid=347 Thank you in advance. »
rmoosavi Thank you for your prompt reply - I was concerned that the scale and design of the paper I chose would overpower the room. I will look into the website you recommended.
