- This unique surface finishing is obtained through new automatic technology invented by Giovanni Barbieri
- Since 1999. The procedure first wears out the borders of the tiles then creates semi-opaque natural wavy surface;
- The procedure which “consumes” the softer parts of the marble composition and also allows the subsequent
- Polishing applied in the same grade of an original historical floor.
- The whole procedure is done with ecological abrasive only. The degree of surface sheen is the same as the
- Original sheen on the floors of the historical buildings in our italian cities. No matter the amount of usage and
- Traffic that that the marble is subjected to, its sheen and its unique reflections remain unaltered.
- For care, maintenance, easy of usage and aesthetical result, we consider this type of surface to be the very best
- In the antiqued natural stone tile market as it is extremely similar than the original one.
- Expencive oil water repellent protection is not necessary because normal polish application, (an enterely optional
- Procedure) applied to the surface to protect it from occasional spills and stains caused by usage, will not render
