This is a very nice looking sofa. A bit more tailored. Not quite as casual as the PB Carlisle (slipcovered) but I'm still looking. I am REALLY afraid to order from PB due to absolutely terrible reviews on deliveries. But, darn it, that Carlisle was comfortable. Exactly what I wanted.
There's no perfect formula for the transitional sofa, but it's sleeker than the overstuffed seating of the '80s and '90s and simpler than the ornate sofas of the early 20th century. It's also rounder and softer than midcentury and modern styles.
