This is the perfect size bedroom. There is room for a dresser and a slipper chair past the foot of the bed.

I knew this girl in college who used to get into her single bed and fall aleep immediately even when it had half her wardrobe, some sneakers, and a Brother Word Processor on it. I never understood how that was possible. Having a place to dump your belongings beside you bed is a good idea. It keeps things cleaner and out of your line of vision.

At first glance the entire color palette of this room looks SO simple, but after a minute of studying, I can see how carefully thought out it is. The long thin blue bolster is the focal point that ties it all together. I'm also excited that the "casually tossed handbag" is not a $15,000 Hermes ostrich bag for once. Have you ever noticed in magazines that it's always a Kelly or a Birkin that costs more than most cars just "casually tossed" in a bedroom?

This bedroom is luxurious not just because of what is included, but the details of those "whats." The colors and materials all work together to create an entire subtle palate. The daisies add the finishing touch.

If you aren't ready to commit to a rich blue-gray, paint the walls a paler shade and add an accent pillow.

We liked the tailored look an upholstered bench brings to the end of this bed.
