I want to know if i place my stove in an open window what is the disadvantage? - I'm confused because my husband want the stove there instead of the sink. We are arguing about it and i want to have answers. thank you! »
Mullet Cabinet I would check your local codes to see what they permit, I sent a response to you yesterday but realized I was not logged in under our account, sorry!
Is there a drain to this shelf? - How does the water drain, and how easy is it to maintain? Otherwise I love the idea. I dislike having to keep my sponge and plug on the countertop albeit in a "caddy" »
rgladstein We put something like this in our bathroom (made of plastic) and LOVE it. They do need to be wiped out regularly, but it's easy enough to do!
Mullet Cabinet The color on the island is a specialty finish which includes a paint, glaze, and aging technique. It is in our "Heritage Collection" at Mullet Cabinet.
Amy Burke @ Florida Custom Marble I will not speak for the Designer but if I may weigh it looks as though it may be a Quartz material. Possibly the Silestone Quartz Mountain Mist but its hard to tell for sure and their are dozens of brands and colors, all have something to offer. Some granites look like this but more common lately is the shift to Quartz options.
bepsf The tray is stainless steel - So yes, it can handle wet items.
Mildew can be a problem for sponges even left sitting on the countertop - this doesn't change that.
Hidden sponge storage in front of the sink. Sponges are unsightly; why clutter up sink-side space with them? This use of the often wasted space in front of the sink is very clever.
Hide sponges, brushes and other unsightly small sink clutterers with a little pullout panel. The panel just under the sink is usually just for show and isn't functional; this one earns its keep.
