I love the successful use of pattern and unpredictable colors. It reminds me of African dress, random patterns and colors in a festive attitude. It's deliberate, but looks effortless. It can change on a whim. One common thread is the use of brown. Patterns on the pillows are subservient to the larger pattern in the area rug. It simply works.
