Two bathrooms were updated to reflect the homeowner’s lifestyle and color preferences that were already imbued into the spaces.

The lower level’s blue motif was carried into the compact bathroom, and complimented by warm sandy tiles in the walkin shower. A disabled family uses the bathroom from time to time and consideration was given to provide grab bars and flip down bench seating. The room is contrasted by bright white wainscoting wrapping around the walls and reiterated by the white vanity, mirror, and commode. A blue painted ceiling and trim work gives the room an overall soothing feeling.

The larger bathroom upstairs was designed with an earthy neutral feeling in mind. Honed and tumbled tile lends a softness to the wall and floor tiles in mocha and latte colors. Rich warm wood tones in the vanity and storage closet contrast the brightly polished fixtures and white tub and toilet. The narrow space is emphasized by the horizontal lines that lead the eye to a window on the back wall.
