The Cassius coffee table by NAOS is a study of form and function in action. More than just a static table, the Cassius employs synchronized rotation to transform its shape and size. Two squared glass tops rotate by way of the angled supports which swivel freely. Numerous configurations are possible from a compact square to diagonal compositions to a full rectangular extension. The sleek chrome supports securely anchor the clear tops and the heavy sanded glass base counterweights the tops throughout all their movements. Cassius is highly popular for its minimalist design aesthetic and for its ability to adapt to varied furniture arrangements and changing demand for space. Designed by Arnaldo Gamba and Leila Guerra who are recipients of numerous design awards and whose works are included in the collections of several museums.
