?? - Why are people under the misguided illusion that the kid won't grow out of they're room? They should leave it up to the child when they are older (teen) to choose what they want to do. »
Beth Morrow I love this room! A teen would probably just want to take the canopy down or string lights around it, but a little girl would love it...this little girl does and she's 60 something:)!
mjmil I love this room it is so beautiful. I think it is wonderful that you included this lucky little girl in the decision making process. Great room!
The Shabby Nest You could create similar letters, by purchasing precut wooden letters at a craft store (they are readily available at stores such as Michael's or Hobby Lobby) painting them white, and then gluing them to a backing of scrapbook paper. Then simply frame them and hang them from ribbon.

Give a girl her dream room. "For this pink-loving little girl we wanted to surprise her with not just one but two shades of her favorite color," says Shoshana Gosselin of Designs by Shoshana. "We chose to do larger 20-inch stripes so the walls wouldn't feel too busy."
The idea of the letters above the closet and the stripes for the paint. Except I would like the letters to be patterned pink and blue, same with the paint.

Should Ariella's room be stripes of different shades of pink like this (if so, these are nice SW colors), or different finishes of the same pink like we discussed?
The width of these stripes is 20 inches...would that be better?
