The selection of appliances and the details of storage were worked out well in advance of this remodel. The large “appliance garage” to the left of the oven is perfect for the Kitchen Aid mixer, toaster oven and coffee maker. The range top is flanked by pull out storage for utensils to insure the counter-top stays clutter free. The steam unit was placed to the right of the sink for easy clean up. The stainless steel toe kick reflects the light and gives the feeling that the cabinets are floating above the cork floor.
