elizabethkovich I know Masland carries that design- it is a moorish pattern. The rug is called Alhambra, but they don't have that orange color unfortunately.

People often think that a bold color on the ceiling will make the ceiling look lower. Sometimes that's true, but in this room the opposite effect occurs. If the ceiling were white, your eye would be drawn below the molding by the bright orange walls. Instead, the strong color lets your eye continue on up above the molding to actually make the ceiling look higher.

Whoa, Nelly. These red-orange walls with bright white trim are not for the faint of heart. A saturated, color-themed room like this has an old-fashioned feel. It reminds me of Napoleon's quarters in the Louvre — not the color as much as the idea of doing a single-color room.

Wow! Bright orange! I really love orange. I like this idea, but I would find this just a little too much color. I would take this concept and tone it down just a bit--maybe just do a feature wall and accents.

Sue we talked about the pop print for pillows in your daughter's guest room. See how the pillow on the sofa works well w/the rug. I had suggested a striped foot warmer on the bed, but this rug pattern would work well also.
