houserem Thanks. Some honed looks really gray, from your experience, are there any problems with enhancing the honed granite to get a deeper black color

Rossington Architecture I've never seen a black honed go gray and I've never "enhanced" a stone so I can't really help sorry.

Rossington Architecture A company - The Cabinet Craftsman - that is no longer in business. It's a conversion varnish, the make up of which is no longer allowed in California... sorry!

Also consider ... With some textures, you run the risk of a dated look down the road. (Anyone remember the random, crackly patterns of the 1970s?) The simplest styles, such as ribbed glass, are less likely to fall out of favor.
