How far away from the wall is the tub located? - I have 36"x 70" alcove. I can leave lots of room behind the tub on the longer side where the taps will be but am worried if there would be enough room at the sides of the tub. The tub I am looking at is a free standing oval tub that is 66" long. Is 2" on either end enough? I could get a Swiffer around it.

Application of silicone, ease of cleaning, towel bars and whether you have tile, wainscoting or paint on the wall are things to consider when determining how much space is appropriate. In this custom bathroom renovation there is tile on the walls and approx. 4" of space on the back side given the wall mounted faucets and about 2" on the left side. 2" is a tight space, but if your contractor is able to apply the silicone and you are able to clean around it sufficiently, then it may work just fine. Good luck!

Pretty good layout. Two sinks aren't necessary.
