Bockman + Forbes Design The walls are great, aren't they....painted by a very talented gentleman by the name of Jay Duke; he keeps his formulas but reaching out to a local faux finish specialist in your area may yield similar results.

Perfect! The mix of colors, blues greens greys and taupe and the white fits right in perfectly. Ancient Greece meets 60's mod meets shabby chic Parisian and even some Asian zen with the painting on the wall. I love all of it. Just the inspiration I was looking for! Now I just have to make it work in a room with a lower ceiling and maybe some comfier but not frumpy couches. Love it! Favorite by far.

These rooms deserve a certain level of formality, as a nod to the old days, but should also have really, truly comfortable furniture. Both this space and the room above do a good job mixing comfort with a tiny touch of haughtiness.
