Black, white and yellow is stunning color combo. Here the graphic zebra print ottomans contrast beautifully with the yellow floral prints creating dynamic visual appeal.
This scene feels like you just arrived at a garden oasis with four walls and a ceiling. Paneling is a great way to add wallpaper without committing to an entire wall, and with its yellow background, this print FEELS sunny. The addition of the deer sculpture and zebra upholstery completes the outdoorsy vibe.
If you're dying to use a certain wallpaper in your home but the cost is just too high to justify (or you've got a fabulous vintage specimen and not enough of it to cover a full wall), considering papering inside the paneling. If you don't have paneling, you can easily make your own with simple wood strips nailed to the wall. Or, if you're a renter and can't apply paper to walls, cheap frames enclosing your favorite wallpaper and simply hung on the wall like a painting will do the trick.DIY: Wallpaper Goes Mobile
9. To show off your mad mixing skillz: Bright yellow chinoiserie panels, zebra covered stools and some sort of eland*? No problem!*I don't know an eland from an ibex. I just thought this looked more exotic than a deer and I have no idea what it is. If you do, please educate me in the Comments section.
I love the patterns in this room. One pitfall of modern and even traditional black and white is that if its's implemented to strictly, you can end up with a stiff effect. This room was designed beautifully by adding the fun zebra pattern with the elegant wall treatment. Beautiful!
