This room was designed and built from the inspiration of an old English library and a desire for a welcoming venue in which to entertain. The library was the foundation for the entire design. Books bring the most color and life into a room and the collection of books is what makes the room warm yet sophisticated. The antiques like the Louis XIV tapestry chair and French Cavalier clock as well as the custom chosen fabrics are further highlighted by the colors present in the library. Each vignette, anchored by area rugs beautifully contrasted against custom wood flooring, provides ample seating for all invited. Holly L. Nelson Photography
