Family room joinery for gas fire, tv and computer desk - Hi I really like the joinery design in this room. Is the fire flued? Where does the flue go? Where are the 'boxes' for the tv ie dvr and DVD? Thank you?

Hi Fiwisyd, the fire is flued, it sits behind the overhead cupboards etc and exits the building hidden in the overhead bulkhead on the side of the house (the cupboard that sits centered above the fire place is a false cupboard). The DVD player etc are located in the cupboard directly above the TV, these cupboards have pocket sliding doors. We designed and drafted this piece of joinery for the client....hope that answers your query : )

thank you, I can see this now. I have another question - we love the timber 'hearth' running along the front - is this solid timber? Or veneer? Seeing this picture, I can actually imagine how our room might work now, thank you!
