marlenesommerfeld Not sure if it's a match, but looks very similar. I have a color on my walls for years now...it's called Sandstone Cove (730C-2m) with Swiss Coffee (1812u) Home Depot, Behr. Looks very similar. My baseboards and trim are Simply White (OC-117). Benjamin Moore.
Understair office - We loved this idea and used this picture to make our own understair office. We would like to send in a before and after pic. How should we do that.
Thanks,
Janet Epstein

Leslie Goodwin Photography As the photographer on the job, I am not involved in the design process. However, I do know the basement was dug out, I would say for a height of around 9 feet. Best, Leslie.

Love the Chair! Can you tell me where I can find it? I know PB has a similar one (if not the same one), but I'm looking for something at a lower price if possible. Thank you! »
Permission to re-post photo - I'm a Content Curator for a US Home Building Company's blog. We are developing a story about HOME OFFICES and I was wondering if we can re-post this image in our story? I like your photography style and the creative use of space can inspire many people. I will make sure to embed the image, linking back to this page so you get credit. Thanks for your time. - Emily »
This office is also out in the open in the heart of the home. Using the same cabinetry style as the rest of the home and very carefully editing items out on display help this office to fit right in. This is a nice option if you would feel isolated working in a closed room all by yourself.
3. The owners of this house created a home office under the stairs. A few wall shelves and a built-in desk (or small table), and you're all set. Try using a chair with wheels so you can roll it away when entertaining.
5. Steps to success. Construct a perfectly functional office under the basement stairs with built-in cabinetry and convenient open shelving to store bills and household paperwork. Save space and stay organized all under one staircase.
Use every nook and cranny. Under the stairs can prove to be an ideal spot for an L-shape desk, file storage, an extra closet or built-in shelving to hold craft supplies. Look around — you may have more usable space than you think.
7. Consider including a bathroom or kitchenette. “Adding a bathroom and kitchenette as a part of your office environment can help you stay on track and keep from family or home-chore distractions,” says Holloway. “These added amenities will also be beneficial to the privacy issues one has if clients visit your home office."
Create a home office. This understair corner provides plenty of space for a desk, files and supplies. See more clever ideas for underneath the staircase
I like the desk under the stairs....It might be a way to make the use at the end of the stairs more useful and define that space as office and a nice bookshelf.
