Karen Viscito Interiors No, not once you get the hang of it. Usually tile is installed row by row, but the installation of this tile is done on an angle. In fact we are repeating this same tile again in our new home. Mission Stone & Tile sells this color along with some others. I think there might be even some new colors on the near horizon too!

This kitchen was a DIY project. The cabinets were painted with Benjamin Moore Cloud White, they are the original builder grade dark oak. We added all the trim. The range is by Capital and the hood is Viking.
The backsplash sets this kitchen apart from others, it was the perfect icing on the cake for us. I won it in a contest from Mission Stone and Tile. It is beveled arabesque tile, each one is individually set in place and then grouted.
