The key to any effective layout is balance. Placing a single chair across from the shorter end of the sectional strikes that balance.

The back of the chair has pleasingly simple curves. This means you don't have to put this baby in a corner or up against a wall. Bernett was very careful to make sure the chair looks good from every angle, with the armrests flowing into the seat and back.
