If you are going to have a raised wall oven and raised dishwasher, then why not a raised dryer in the laundry? All prevents unnecessary bending. Don't see the point of a raised top loading washer though...that would just make it harder to get to the bottom to pull the clothes out.

Nice looking laundry space. Looks very up to date without having those very popular, pricy modern front loaded washers and driers. Ditto for the clever raised platform. Those "pedestals" for the W & D's are ridiculously expensive. Speaking of those raised pedestals... why is this "improvement" seen as a costly design feature? And it's more a case of form over function. I mean, as far as I'm concerned all washers & driers should be raised. Dishwashers, too. And same with fridges.. freezer makes far more sense on the bottom. Middle age will get ya, sooner or later. It comes after all of us. Bending over, unnecessarily, is for the birds! These things should be so obvious, no? I feel the same way about those sectionals with the reversible chaise. What a whole new world of flexibility they give you. Velcro is a wonderful thing.
