To create each of these one-of-a-kind quilts, female artisans in and around Calcutta, India, cut and stitch vibrantly hued recycled vintage cotton saris by hand, using a traditional embroidery technique called kantha to form intricate designs. Because of how these quilts are made, each is unique in color, size, pattern and design, so we handpick every single one we sell.
