Foyer floor - We are going for this look on our foyer floor but we're having a hard time finding 2-4 inch black tiles for the clipped corners of the marble tile. The depth of the tile is also an issue. Can you tell me how you achieved this look and where you got the black tiles? »
Kathleen Walsh Interiors, LLC You can always buy a larger tile and your tile intaller can cut them down to any size while on-site. Or, ask your local marble supplier and they can oftentimes cut a stock size down for you as well. We always match up thicknesses of tile for an installation like this; it's possible to accommodate tiles of different thicknesses but the labor cost usually outstrips the cost of ordering what you really need.
Kathleen Walsh Interiors, LLC This color is Benj Moore AC-38 North Hampton Beige- depending on the light in a particular room, it can err violet or beige. Good luck!
Kathleen Walsh Interiors, LLC Thanks! The pendant is from Remains lighting and is available through the trade. Feel free to contact us if you need help purchasing it.
ksho Thanks for sharing the wall color! I've been trying to find the "right" lavender and it's sooo hard. Always, too bright, too strong, too blue, etc. Maybe looking for a beige or gray (with violet undertones) is the way to go!
Kathleen Walsh Interiors, LLC Thank you! We loved working on this project and we're glad it shows. The pedestal table was bought through Nancy Corzine and is available through the trade. We customized the size and finish. If you really love it, we provide buying services for trade-only items, just email us.
BM North Hampton Beige. I like that it's neutral but reads violet in certain light (maybe too violet for David). Not sure how it would look in our new bedroom which has four windows.
