D G Liu Design and Home Remodeling - Dale Kramer I advised the owner against this floor for that very reason. We created overhangs to help prevent rain from getting in but they know that with a hard driving rain there might be some puddling and if so, they will need to towel it up immediately. They were good with that and it now is 7 years old and still looks great.
suzyidol I am deciding on my floor now. The tongue and goove looks beautiful but with only a 1/4" pitch over 11' I am concerned with puddling also. I am leaning toward decking. What do you think?
suzyidol Also, is there any rule regarding the placement of the boards? I often see them running length-wise with the house but we want to put them perpendicular to the house as the screened porch measures 11'3" x 25'8". The Perennial Wood deck boards are 12' with 1/8" spacers.
