I think that you will find using a stencil to be probably the easiest way to go about painting the circle. You can also attempt a stencil for the letter, but you may want to try out using a wall decal.

Shoshana Gosselin Hi kelseystreifthau! I actually used thread and a very thin sewing needle. I tied one end of a piece of thread to it. I tied the other end of the thread to a pencil. I pushed half the needle into the wall so it was secure, then pulling the thread tight, in a slow circular motion, marked it with the pencil. The letter was done free hand so it didn't look perfect.
