Maybe not wide enought for much seating but I like this room, love the beams, windows, fireplace, mantle, stone, separation from dining room via post and beams, maybe I do like the idea of fire place on the side vs back of house...

This is how i would picture view as you walk in from a large front entryway --the main part of the house on main floor. One big open area with kitchen on right, fireplace wall on left. Off the left side would be a main floor suite. Room is entire width of house. Ken has vision of staircase on left in back with open look up to 2nd floor.
